What this is
Maintenance keeps a website alive — updates, backups, uptime. Necessary, and not nearly enough. This service exists to keep the website and everything around it getting better: search visibility, conversion, content, analytics, technical health, automation and development, prioritised each month against what the evidence says will help most.
It is deliberately not a bucket of hours for reactive fixes. Every month has priorities, the priorities have reasons, and you can see both.

Talk about a custom retainerMonthly work is prioritised within the agreed scope and capacity of your plan — none of these is unlimited, and you should be suspicious of anyone who says theirs is. Unused capacity does not roll over; if we are the reason agreed work slipped, we put that right separately rather than banking it. Advertising spend, third-party subscriptions, licences and usage fees are separate unless your proposal says otherwise. And nobody — including us — can promise rankings, traffic or leads: we improve the things that are actually in your control.

A retainer earns trust by being legible. You should never have to wonder what this month bought.
Reporting is written and plain-language — a report a person actually wrote, not a dashboard export. We do not promise a client dashboard; if one ever exists it will be because it is genuinely ready, not because a page advertised it first.
Where it starts
Most plans begin where a project ends — the site launches, and the improving starts. But nothing requires that. A plan can start on a website we did not build; the free review tells us both where to begin, and it becomes month one’s priorities.
It also keeps the relationship honest in the other direction: if a month’s evidence says the best next step is a scoped project — or nothing at all — the report says so.

Website RedesignCare is month-to-month. Growth and Growth+ carry a three-month initial commitment — enough time for the work to show what it does — and run month-to-month after that. Custom retainers follow their proposal. Nothing locks you in for a year to find out whether it works.
It does not roll over — the plan buys a month of prioritised attention, not a bank of hours. The exception cuts our way, not yours: if we are the reason agreed work slipped, we put it right separately rather than treating your plan as the buffer.
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Monthly work is prioritised within the agreed scope and capacity of your plan. “Unlimited” retainers are either quietly rationed or quietly loss-making, and both end badly for the client.
No responsible provider can. We improve the things that are actually in your control — technical foundations, content, conversion paths, measurement — and report movement honestly, including the months where the movement is small.
Advertising spend and paid media budgets, third-party subscriptions, APIs and licences, and usage fees — those are separate unless your proposal explicitly includes them. Larger builds — a redesign, a custom system, an AI agent — become scoped projects rather than being squeezed through a plan.
Growth+ carries real capacity for development, automation improvements and new workflows each month. Where the ongoing need is bigger than that — substantial development, multiple sites, agents or custom software in production — a custom retainer is the honest shape for it.
